As a former special education teacher and mom of two kids on the spectrum, Michelle will tell her unique story. Using candor and humor, she will discuss ways of using humor to parent special needs children. You will get information and ideas that can implemented today. A Q and A is built into the presentation. Finding Joy in Parenting
As a stand- up comedian and parent, Michelle will talk about the challenges and joys of parenting. Using personal stories and recent research, she will educate and entertain parents as they do the most difficult and rewarding job there is.
Appropriate Humor
Great for youth groups, parent groups and adults who work with students. Michelle will educate the audience on different styles of humor and how to increase your sense of humor (even if you’re humor impaired). She will provide examples from her personal life, talking about appropriate humor in an age where anything goes.

Michelle tells her personal story of her transition from special education teacher and stay-at-home mom to being a stand-up comedian. She will give tips on using your gifts and talents in a variety of settings. Great for groups that work with people in transition—whether personal, professional, church or parachurch organizations.
